Carol and her quartet played in my wedding june 3,2005. They were great! We loved the diversity in her music and her sensitivity to what we wanted to hear.Although, wer are a diverse couple, we love all types of music.
My husband and I wished we could've heard more... but you know how weeddings are, you are being pulled in all directions and you dont get to enjoy the day.
My guests loved her during the wedding and after. We had her play at coctail hour, she played it all from show tunes ,classical to jazz. TONS OF FUN!

I would definitely hire her and her quartett in a heart beat!
Thanks

Hi Willard, I'm mortified -- I thought listing the tracks on the back cover of the jewel case was the clearest possible way it could be done. The musician credits are also quite clear, on the inside of the back cover. Maybe that's a bit harder to find. I'm looking right now at the back cover, and every tune is listed with its composer, lyricist and time in minutes and seconds. Was that not visible?

I agree it would have been nice to list them on the disk as well. That was the choice of the record label, to just put the design on there.

Thanks for the feedback and please write again re the back cover and what exactly is wrong with it (I'm wondering if it somehow got removed from your copy?).

BEST regards, Carol

Carol:
Word to the wise, to be more radio programmer friendly PLEASE always list your CD tracks either clearly on your booklet or on the disc itself (preferably both!) for ready, easy reference.

[...] I am glad to announce that Carol SUDHALTER’S new CD has just come out. All the organ selections were recorded at my studio. Carol is a great Jazz saxophonist and flutist. She was looking for a Hammond B3 to capture her organ trio with the great Italian Jazz Organist Vito Di Modugno. All the other material was recorded at my good friend’s Slau Halatyn’s studio Besharp in Astoria Queens. for more info and where to buy the album go to: http://sudhalter.com/new-cd-carol-sudhalter-the-octave-tunes/.
Just heard the set on WKCR's show with Sharif Abdul Salaam, whom i've been listening to since about 1970. Beautiful! "Somewhere" and the other tunes knocked me out. Thanks.
